An Optometrist Roseville, CA Sufferers of Vision Problems will Love

09/06/2013 10:25

I am blogging today about a great optometrist in Northern California that I just learned about not too long ago. What I have seen has just kind of…I don’t know, hit me like a ton of bricks because it is so rare that you see someone capable of alleviating such life altering problems anymore. Thomas R. Swanson O.D., Inc is the office of a forward thinking optometrist Roseville residents should consider giving a visit to if they are suffering from dyslexia. Dr. Thomas R. Swanson is now providing his patients with ChromaGen lenses like these to undo the confusing effects dyslexia has on a person’s ability to read accurately. I do not have dyslexia, but I do suffer from astigmatism in my eyes that began as a child, so I can identify with the stories of dyslexia sufferers, including the stories of some of Dr. Swanson’s patients.

Years of Struggle can be over in an Instant with the Right Pair of Glasses from your Optometrist

Roseville customers looking for a great vision care clinic can begin the process of investigation for prospective eye doctors by watching the video at this site. The first story is of a girl who loves school and reading but has seen a recent increase in difficulty reading and even suffering from some nausea when reading. I can relate to that because I began as a voracious reader, well advanced for my age, but around second grade, I began to have difficulty reading the chalkboard. I squinted and moved my seat to be closer to the board. I began to have headaches and was starting to lose my love for reading. The problem, however, was subtle enough that it did not immediately occur to me that I should get some glasses, plus I was very young so I did not really know what all of my options were.

Eventually my vision problems became obvious enough to get the attention of my mother. We didn’t go to the same clinic as the one with the optometrist Roseville has, but he was great all the same. He “opened my eyes” to the fact that I did not have to suffer anymore, and I could get back to performing at my best in class and enjoying television the way I had been doing previously. Similarly, this young lady in that video on Dr. Swanson’s website found her solution in the new ChromaGen lenses (click here). Her results were immediate and dramatic. Now, I am not quite smart enough to fully understand the way these amazing lenses work, but around three quarters of all the people with dyslexia who try them end up seeing their problem alleviated.

If you need help with Dyslexia from an Optometrist in Roseville, Seek Dr. Swanson

I also saw a much older woman on that video, and she, of course, was forced to endure decades of unmitigated dyslexia and it really cost her quite a bit. She had a rough time with academics and used to cry often out of frustration and despair. We should all be appreciative of this development in eyewear technology, and about Roseville optometrists who stay on the cutting edge of technology.

Best Ways to Stay in Shape

08/07/2013 13:46

Though this is an oft-tackled subject, I felt it'd be a great idea to start here (especially since a lot of the stuff I will be talking about on this blog will be building upon this. So, without further ado, here is a bit of information about staying in shape, and staying healthy.

Regular Doctor Trips

No matter if you need it or not, make sure you schedule regular doctor appointments. You can catch many of the most harmful (and silent) diseases this way, which can save your life (particularly if you catch those diseases early). But, make sure you trust your doctor before scheduling these appointments. Misdiagnosis is a common thing, after all.

Diet and Exercise

This is probably one of the easiest way to stay healthy on this list. Your body breaks down so easy without proper dieting and exercising; so do it! Eat healthy, and make sure you are moving around at least a little bit.

Regular Dentist Trips

Like doctor trips, dentist trips are exceedingly important in ensuring your health. Go at least 2 times a year, and you should be fine.
